Comments
Comments: Started in the pouring rain in mud and water in the trail down low in the logging roads. once on the narrow trail, it was ice and snow. We stopped at the juct. for food and layers still pouring rain. By the time we hit the juct of KRT The rain turned to snow, sleet, and mixed rain. We hit the summits in no time with positive attitudes. Made quick work of the decent and the rain stopped somewhere on the lower 1/3 of the trail just enuogh to start to dry out. we didnt see a soul all day besides the guy at the trail head that decided to go home cuz of the rain. Thanks Heather & Kali for a great day on the Kinsmans no matter what the weather. And being the first Mts we ever hiked together alone they will always be a special place.
