Comments
Comments: Seconding what others had said - a beautiful day on the trails with nice sunny skies and amazing views, 56 at the trailhead and in the 40s up top with about a 15-20 mph wind. Trail was solid if you stay in the center but a couple of inches to either side and in places you're sinking 3 feet deep. Boots fine but wore traction for a bit of bite which worked especially heading down to minimize slipping and sliding on the spring snow. Many out on the trail today - met a few coming back from Eisenhower the trail did look reasonably packed; several headed down Webster Cliff trail to the hut which was much softer and did require snowshoes.
