Comments
Comments: 39F at the trailhead at 8:30 this morning so snow was soft from the get go and snowshoes required. Trail is already mono-railing and at the low elevations the runoff is undermining the trail. Trail was better after the Wilderness sign. Bushwhack went higher and came down sooner than I would normally take but it was well packed and easy to follow. Took the Drainage ditch to cut off the corner of the Isolation Trail to Davis Path. Views from the summit were great today and the wind was warm. Snow was much softer on the way down. Great day to be out on the trails!
