Comments
Comments: The beginning section is bare ground except for the trail, which is a skating rink. Put microspikes on and kept them on until we reached N. Kinsman. Switched to snowshoes for the trip over to south and kept them on until we got down to where the snow is gone. There is a lot of mud down low. Up high it is still winter. If you are careful and stay on the "track" you stay on top, but don't stray as you post hole up to and over your knees. Hiked in shorts today, beautiful day to be out.
