Comments
Comments: Trail conditions likely to change with incoming rain. Trails are packed, but postholed, especially along the edges and down low. This problem gets better higher up, where there has been less traffic. The steeps going up to East have soft slightly slippery snow due to warm temps, steps easily kicked in, but more traction is better than less. Hillsound Pros or sharp micros or snowshoes would all work fine. Drifty areas on ridge broken out nicely. Chimney has nice steps kicked in, the bypass is starting to melt out, rocks showing through and some ice. With some thaw/freeze cycles, this could get icy. Typical spring conditions!
