Comments
Comments: Started in microspikes, but quickly changed to snowshoes. Snow was sticky and slow. Trail was lumpy so snowshoes felt better and quicker (since we were not backsliding). In a speech in New England in 1876, Mark Twain once said, "In the spring I have counted one hundred and thirty-six different kinds of weather inside of four-and-twenty hours." This sums up the weather today - it rained, sleeted and snowed on us! Still, a fun hike together for a calendar day 4k!
