As the road to the summer TH parking was well frozen I did park there, but with warmer weather this might be a bad idea. |

Trail is in excellent shape, no blowdowns, only occasional postholes, and the usual ice bulges above the spring. |

The solid, frozen trail was easy for Toby to handle |

| Comments: |
Started on the trail early and finished by noon, thus had no issues of the sun softening the well packed trail. The trail in the hardwoods had softened up on my way down, but, was still solid enough to never sink in. I did bareboot but met another couple using Hillsounds. Microspikes are probably the best choice, though things will change after tonight's rain. |
