Comments
Comments: Beautiful day on the Osceolas. Three of us wore crampons start to finish. CL seemed to get by with microspikes and steel nerves. There was a hard crust on some of the steeps that made it tricky. If we stayed on the trail it was solid. If it warms much snowshoes would be a good idea or post holing up to impressive depths could occur. We carried them but didn't need them. With the snow depth there were many more view points than in summer months. We were able to eat lunch on the summit of Osceola.
