Comments
Comments: 19 Mile Woods Trail was in great shape, surprisingly few postholes. Carter Dome has seen little snowshoe traffic of late, but a lot of barebooting, hence, it resembles a moonscape in spots. Zeta Pass and Carter Moriah Trails had some snowshoe traffic lately, no postholes, and I did my best to pretty it up. I donned snowshoes when I got to Carter Dome Trail on the way in, kept them on until back at my rig. Snow was firm when I headed in at 11 AM, mashed potatoes on the way out at 6 PM.
