Wow! The Crawford Path was bare-boot-able for a few hours then put on the snowshoes on top of Mt. Pierce as the sun was melting the snow. As my new friend Al put it was a blue bird day or a perfect day for hiking. Had a great time with Al, Kevin and Marsha who I met today while hiking up to Mt. Pierce and Eisenhower. Crystal blue skies and a nice breeze as if the mountains were crying out Spring is Here! Feed a Canadian Jay and had good conversations with my new hiking friends. Had lunch on top of Mt. Pierce before heading over to Eisenhower then returning back to the parking lot. |
