The snow is quickly becoming unstable--mashed potato snow, to borrow a skiers phrase. If you stay on the monorail all is well but coming down fast and tired i went to the sides and sunk in 1-1 1-2 feet. And even tho i wore snowshoes car to car ieft the trail far choppier. Maybe it would be more even if there was 4 of me.
Anyway, it was another stunning day out. The sun made a noon to 2 appearance which was perfect timing as we were hitting the ledges around 12:30t. We lounged in the sun on the ledges and i have a nice little sunburn today. |
