Comments
Comments: Mt. Kinsman Trail to Bald Knob Spur to Bald Peak - Light traction. Very little surface snow - one warm day and snowshoes will not be usable for this stretch. Some blue ice.

Mt. Kinsman Trail from Bald Knob Spur to Kinsman Ridge Trail - snowshoes a good idea, though it could be done with Microspikes (generally well packed, but a few places barebooters were postholing). Frozen granular base with loose granular surface, decent amount of blue ice just before Ridge junction.

Kinsman Ridge Trail to North Kinsman - decent amount of blue ice, otherwise frozen granular and a little windblown. MSRs were adequate, though others made it up on Microspikes.

Kinsman Ridge Trail to South Kinsman - some blue ice, otherwise frozen granular and windblown. MSRs were adequate, though others made it over on crampons.
