Comments
Comments: Not sure how helpful this report will be after today's weather, but here is goes: trail had to be broken out again yesterday; I was first one on trail; at times previous trail had completely disappeared and I was up to my knees in wet/sticky snow; other times I was more lucky and only sank in to my ankles. Overall, it was slow going. Lost the trail a few times when up on the ridge and swerved around a few trees and re-found my way. Bumped into first two people just below North Peak upon my return from Middle Peak (--gorgeous views, sunny skies--); they thanked me for breaking trail; very kind of them. Then, plenty of people on the trail; I stopped counting at 15. Trail was well packed out; butt-sled down some steep sections. Two people were bare-booting and were breaking through regularly... why they do that I don't understand. People behind them very unhappy as they had to deal with their mess, ascending after them.
