Great weather above tree line with blue sky and minimal wind. Moderate wind on Eisenhower. Spikes up to junction, then switched to snowshoes for hike to Ike. Quite a few postholes and rough trail along ridge. Saw dozens of hikers including two large school groups. Nice to meet Waumbek who is a regular poster to this site and very knowledgeable on New Hampshire/ Maine hiking trails.
Great day and need to make the ride up here more often. |
