Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The Carter-Moriah Trail could use a good pruning as the spruce branches over the trail was annoying after a while. If everyone would take a break a few branches off when hiking this and other trails would be cleaned up in no time!

Comments
Comments: It was truly great to have a beautiful sunny day for a hike up Carter Dome and Mt. Hight. The Carter-Moriah trail was mostly buried over with snow drifts just about the whole way making it hard work often times up to my knees in snow. Hit a few spruce traps along the way and wished that I brought my snow shoes as it would have been a real game changer on this climb. I originally wanted to go up to Wildcat A Peak but the trail was completely snow-drifted in. The Carter Dome trail and Nineteen Mile Brook Trail were well packed making travel good back to the parking lot.
