Comments: microspikes up to Carter Lakes, then snowshoes up over Carter Dome and down to the jct again at 19 Mile...snow still soft on the Carter Moriah trail, only one snowshoe track coming down from Carter Dome to the hut area..from Dome summit another track from this AM led back to the CM trail over Mt. Hight..we took Carter Dome trail and had to break it out mostly through some deep drifts..nice view day for us, Rod working on 4th round of 48th....
