Comments
Comments: Started late for the weather to improve, and followed one hiker on snowshoes the whole way. About an inch of new snow down low and increased to 3-4 up higher. Lots of drifting on FR. The lone hiker worked hard between the two peaks (Big THANK YOU). Trail is not consolidated with the new snow. Two barebooters banged it up a bit but everyone else in snowshoes so shouldn't be bad. I would recommend snowshoes until we get a melt/refreeze. That is a trail begging for Televators. Getting sticky in the hardwoods but plenty of winter on top and between the peaks. Views were incredible with the clouds and less wind then predicted.
Great day out!
