Had great intent on getting the summit of Moose for the 5th time today. No such luck. 118 continues to be a mess and now we add in a snow storm this morning... Interesting maneuvers to get the Focus to the trail head. I followed some beautiful ski tracks and flattened them out with snowshoes which promptly got blown back in with the winds and more accumulating snow this morning. We rounded the Lodge with an intent to get to the actual trail and... Nope... Isis was in over her head. Today would have to be a snowshoe hike of the road. Welcome to transition time. Happy Spring. ;) |
