Comments
Comments: Light snow began late morning. Once on ridge, very windy. Several parties. All went to greenleaf hut then determined obvious conclusion that this was no day for the summit or the ridge. Very strong gusty winds with blowing snow and whiteouts. Temperature 25 deg f on hut thermometer. Descended a bit to woods and then return to parking lot. A foreign group of 5 with at least one teen in bluejeans seen below hut. Not well provisioned. Told them to turn back.
