Crawford Connector - Well packed and barebootable.
Crawford Path to Webster Cliff junction - Barebootable.
Webster Cliff Trail to Pierce - probably doable with light traction (ascended with Microspikes, descended with crampons...lots of blue ice).
Crawford Path to Eisenhower Loop - lots of drifting, lots of blue ice, also some bare ledge. I chose to wear crampons and had no problem with postholing.
Eisenhower Loop to Mt. Eisenhower - some drifting, lots of blue ice. I wore crampons.
Pretty darned windy above the trees today! |
