First the good news: On this the last full day of winter, Bondcliff and West Bond Spur were fully broken out with no postholing. I used microspikes on Lincoln Woods and lower Bondcliff and then switched to snowshoes for better traction near the large horse shoe turn where the serious ascent begins. Now the bad news: It was starting to snow when I left the Lincoln Woods parking lot. |
