Many Kudos to Per & John for an excellent job of breaking out Engine Hill.
Hiked Isolation 17 times but this time was like no other. Someone had done an incredible bushwhack for at least a half a mile that paralleled Isolation Trail. Check out the GPS screen shots at link.
Bare booted to Wilderness signs and then snowshoes for the remainder of hike.
Passed two on coming hikers on Davis Path so the trail in now nicely packed.
Spent 30 minutes enjoying the endless views from the summit.
Wonderful being out with my main squeeze once again! |
