Comments
Comments: A very cold start provided a hard packed trail and road. I bare booted to the first water crossing where I put on my spikes. The trail was not as smooth as it could have been because of people without snowshoes in soft snow before the freeze, but still a gift after Owl's Head on Sat. At the base of the mt. I put on snow shoes. Powder snow increased with some drifts as you got higher. It was a beautiful day with sun and no wind on signal ridge. Breeze picked up a little on the way back from the top but blue skies provided wonderful views. It was nice talking with Fiddlehead and Michelle. thanks Frank and Claude for a great hike.
