Trailhead crossing was bridged, but probably best rock hopped. Main two crossings were solidly snowbridged. |

Mt. Tecumseh Trail up to the ridge was packed powder and could probably be booted. Excellent on snowshoes though.
Took the Mt. Tecumseh Trail to the summit (ie right at the summit loop split) - this was unbroken with maybe 8" of powder until the final climb, which had knee deep drifts.
Careful walking around the summit - what appears to be an open area is actually drifted snow over trees and cliffs. An unsuspecting barebooter could potentially sink 6-8 feet.
Sosman Trail off the summit (ie the other side of the loop) had some drifts, but was generally packed out. Did not use the Sosman Trail over to the ski area though - looked like a set of ski tracks and a set of postholes. |
