| Comments: |
Well broken out all the way by the Haavud crowd yesterday (thanks!) with some drifting back over our tracks even by the time we turned around. Snowshoes are the only sensible equipment to be used now unless you are staying very low on the trail where it is packed solid. No other souls on this trail today. Wind gusting over the treetops - we were happy to not be on an exposed summit today. Kestrel readings Temp 7F, swirling wind in the trees made wind reading erratic, but W = 5, WC = -7. |
