Started with microspikes, but an inch or two of snow fell overnight, softening the trail. Switched to snowshoes at Cedar Brook trail and wore the entire rest of hike. Probably 3-4 inches of snow fell at higher elevations, and definitely some drifts, but totally manageable. Thank you, Jeff, for your company and conversation up to North and over to South! Definitely hard packed trail on my way out- totally enjoyable snowshoe. |
