Comments
Comments: Paid the $10 and hiked up the groomed trail. Lots of skiers stopped to talk with us, which was unusual.

A skier had sort of broken out the Wildcat Ridge trail most of the way to A peak, but the three (and later 4) of us had plenty of exercise. Powder with no apparent base made it hard going, and on the way back, even after a big Boston Chapter AMC group had packed the trail following us, we still sank in. We had some trouble with snow balling up on our poles and under the snowshoes. Temps in the 30s, not much wind. Little snow on trees.

Avoided the D peak on the return, bushwhacked to a glade ski path from the col between C and D, and climbed up to Polecat.
