The trail was surprisingly packed, I guess it really is popular! I wore my snowshoes car to car and was happy with that given the warm temps softening snow. When it freezes it may be firm enough for just micro spikes. Meeka (dog) sank in a bit and chased a few squirrels. I was apprehensive to bring her winter hiking but she did great. Can't wait for next winter. 47 more and we will see you all at the flagpole ceremony in a few years I hope. Yay, we can welcome another trail dog to the hiking community! |
