Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Lots of folks trying to sneak in a few more runs before the snow melts so parked a ways away from the trailhead. Not an issue though as there is plenty of parking available.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow - Wet/Sticky, Snow/Ice - Postholes
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Light Traction
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Just a couple hop-overs near the beginning of the trail.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is in great shape. No deadfall that I saw.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Met 2 dogs at the summit. One awesome, super friendly boxer (in a sweatshirt) and one chihuahua (in a backpack!) Both dogs were great. As was their owner (sorry I didn't catch your name...it was nice meeting you!)
Bugs
Bugs:
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found 2 articles of clothing that looked to be W's Small layering pieces just to the side of the trail. I hung them from a tree at eye level hoping their owner would see them on the way down. Hope you found them!

Comments
Comments: Great day with great weather. Trail is in great shape and well broken. The warmer weather had the snow a little soft just off the trail so if you stepped off to let someone by you'd sink up to your waist. The higher you got the stickier the snow which made it a little slow going near the summit but also made coming down much easier on the knees. A tradeoff I'll take any day!
