| Comments: |
We were a group of 3, trail breaking in rotation but with 16+ inches of unpacked snow there was no way we could have reached the summit before late afternoon. We made it to the height of land and started the Engine Hill bushwhack for about 10 minutes until we reached the birch glades, had lunch and returned the same way. [3 miles in 4 hours] On the return we saw a solo hiker making his way to Isolation and planning to camp overnight. |
