We were the first out since Wednesday/Thursday snow and had to break trail, snowshoes and the 12-16" of new heavy wet snow was exhausting and we had to turn back approximately 1 mile into the Sandwich Wilderness. Props to gray jay for doing all the heavy lifting on the trail breaking. Tough as nails. We shall return... (: |
