Comments
Comments: Bare boot to the bottom of the N steeps. Switched to shoes for the traction and televators. Flex Alps had great purchase. Walked straight up the fall line. Stayed in shoes for the entire loop. 6+" of new snow/drifts on the ridge. Glissading down S was very, very fast and long. I was breaking most of the ride. Gridder Dale slid down about one hour before I did. Dropped ~700' on the first ride, walked a few feet then dropped another 200'. It took just under 8 minutes to go from S Peak to the loop junction. Back to bare boot at the bottom of the steeps. Carried spikes but did not use them.
