Old Bridle path well packed and smooth; not icy. summit cone of lafayette not icy! wore spikes from parking lot all the way over to haystack. trail from haystack to liberty spring tracked out but not well packed. we wore snowshoes across. left our snowshoes at the trail junction and wore spikes the rest of the hike; trail across liberty and flume is well packed.
