Baxter had a great time, met a dog on the way out and he still had energy to play |

Bare booted until about 15 minutes after large river crossing. Used snowshoes for the heel lifts on the steeps. Some deep drifting between N and S peaks so snowshoes were very helpful. Took them off about same place I put them on. Put on microspikess for awhile but really didn't them. The trail is well packed, just stay in the midddle. |
