Comments
Comments: Bare booted until Fire Wardens Trail, then put on snowshoes for the climb. One spot of ice under snow just before FWT (maybe a couple hundred feet) that was tricky without traction, but doable. Wore snowshoes up and then down back to the first river crossing. 4 of us on this trail today with a few doing the twins as well. Packed the 2-3 inches of new snow from today well. Hale Brook Trail looked well traveled, Lend-A-Hand has only seen a little traffic. The trail was easily to follow and keeps a moderate grade almost the entire length. Looks like it would have some nice views coming down just below the summit if it hadn't been snowing.
