| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Sawyer River Road closed. No issues. We were the only car there on arrival at 8am and remained the only one at 5:30 pm on our return. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes, Light Traction |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
We got wet at both water crossings. We should have been able to rock hop, but had trouble with finding the rocks under the unstable snow bridge |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail was fabulous ~ just like a sidewalk, except for the col which was drifts and a bit intimidating |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
No issues and didn't see any dogs (or other hikers, either) |
|
| Bugs: |

| Lost and Found: |
Found a lovely White Mountains Map (mapadventures) marked with all of the 4000 foot summits the prior owner had achieved. We would be happy to return it. Just email me. |
