Comments
Comments: Crawford path to Webster was nice and packed, used micro spikes all the way up. Met Fred coming down. He turned back from Eisenhower because of the drifts and didn't have snowshoes. We switched to snowshoes right before Webster and Fred decided to give Eisenhower another shot we us breaking trail. Pierce was no problem and we quickly turned to attacking Ike. Breaking trail through deep drifts. Lost the trail a few times and found some very deep spruce traps. Winds were about 35-45. Made it about 3/4 of the way and then just couldn't find the trail. Met up with two more snowshoers who weren't having any luck either. We were so close but with the winds and not being on the trail we decided to turn back. On the way back I am pretty sure I saw where I lost the trail, which was probably about .7 miles along the trail.
