Comments
Comments: Zealand Road and Zealand Trail were well packed out. We barebooted all the way to the hut. Put on snowshoes there and left them on till we were back at the hut again. Trail up to Zeacliff was broken but unconsolidated. Televators were welcome. From the Zeacliff view to the summit of Zealand was blown and drifted. Most of the time, the trench was still visible, but it was snowing very hard through most of our hike. Our tracks were mostly covered on the return and probably are totally gone by now. We were the only ones on the ridge today.
