We used micro spikes up and down. Used snowshoes when we tried to get to middle sister. The first fork to the middle sister was impassible. We went down it, but completely lost the trail. The second fork, the middle sister trail, we were able to travel. The peak we reached was the one between chocorua and the peak with the tower. Travel was very challenging, lots of very deep snow that snowshoes went right through. |
