I made a complete rookie error and thought the trails would be packed down enough to leave snowshoes behind. We had just broken trail up to Liberty on liberty spring the day before so I should have known better. We barebooted and should have turned around when we started postholing. A mistake that will not be made again. My sincere apologies to those that followed. If it is any consolation we truly suffered. Views were incredible from both summits. |
