Plenty of room in the plowed lot near the trailhead (after entering the Cannon skier parking lot as soon as possible from the highway, stay to the left as much as possible, and keep going in until reaching the start of the trail). |

Very nice, blue-sky day, but a bit windy and cold (glad we chose Cannon rather than LaFayette-Little Haystack). Trail well packed out with not too much post-holing. Note that when at the KRT sign, about 50 yards in from parking area, turn left, not right, which the sign strangely indicates to do. |
