Comments
Comments: The trail was very well packed until the lake. Cascade Brook Tr had seen some use as well as a snowshoe track across the lake to gain access to the hut. Fishin Jimmy had several inches of new powdery snow. Kinsman Ridge Tr over North Peak all the way to South Peak had occasional deeper snow drifts. Wore snowshoes most of the day. We were one of the first groups to summit. There were lots of folks hiking up north peak. Most wore snowshoes which really helped pack out the trail for the return trip. Not sure how many of these folks made it over to South Peak. So I'm unsure of the condition of the trail over to South Peak aside from our initial snowshoe trough through soft powder and occasional drifts.
