We were a group of 5, trail breaking in rotation but with 18+ inches of unpacked snow there was no way we could have reached the summit before late afternoon. We made it up until the river crossing near the Isolation Trail junction (3.7 miles in 4.5 hrs), then had lunch and returned the same way. |
