Comments
Comments: Great day, though once again I got the winter Madison socked in, navigating cairn to cairn up top. Not terribly cold though, and wind moderate. Valley Way in great shape now. Airline not broken out in the a.m. but looked like someone had been up there by afternoon. Mixed bag on the summit cone. Some snow drifts, lots of rime-covered rocks. No perfect footwear. I stayed in snowshoes, which was ok and adequate traction but awkward around some rocks.
