Just a note that the parking area for Pine Bend Brook Trail had not been plowed yet this morning. No legal parking at this trailhead until it is plowed (must park off pavement), I didn't check but I suspect the Sabbaday lot 1 mile down the road was plowed. Looked like one sole set of tracks at the trailhead, I did not check to see if they entered the woods any significant distance. I aborted this hike before it began (didn't really want to solo break trail all the way up) and went to the Hancocks instead (see conditions entry). |
