Comments
Comments: Carter Moriah was unbroken when we got to the junction and Isis and I made an honest attempt at it. She's just too little for the deep drifts and became cold from snowballs on her belly. So, I made the decision to turn back. Hopefully the group of 4 that came up behind me were able to summit (I want to try again tomorrow).... I was really discouraged by some of the people coming up the trail completely unprepared and carrying no gear for winter. It's not safe to be out there unprepared and to find an empty wine bottle that was not there when I started was even more alarming. Generally though, it was a great day on the trails for Isis and I even with the mixed company at the end. Nice to meet some on the trails today. Hopefully we will make another attempt tomorrow.
