Comments
Comments: Trails were well packed down with about an inch of new snow. Only a few icy spots which traction handled well. Used snowshoes with built in traction. Saw snow shelter by the Mizpah Hut. The most drifts were on the Webster Cliff Trail at the bald spots as well as at the junction with the Crawford Path. Wind scoured surface on north side of Mt Pierce summit exposed some rocks. An occasional rock was exposed on the Crawford Path as the snow pack is not deep. Due to blow downs on the Crawford Cliff Spur there was no easy way to get to the cliff.
No views to Mt Washington today. Cold wind around summit. No other hikers today.
