Comments
Comments: What a beautiful hike in the Whites. It was 8 degrees at the trail head but sunny, with a bright blue sky and calm winds up top. Both trails right now have a packed snowshoe track with maybe an inch of loose snow. Surprisingly, some rocks and ice flows are still evident but are no problem. I used snowshoes up and down and was happy with the choice. The few other hikers on the trail seemed to opt for micro spikes. The Bald Knob spur also appeared broken out, as was Kinsman Ridge going north.
