Sasha had a lot of paw icing on the way down. Anyone out there using dog boots? I've had little luck with wax or vasiline. The dogs new ruffwear goretx coat seems to be going over well tho. |

| Comments: |
We went to the ledges just below Mt Pierce. Winds were blustery, some estimating 30-40 mph gusts in the open. So i blindly took pics and the ledge and ran back to the cover of the trees. Plenty of people were braving the winds to tag Pierce. Sasha was sprinting up clearly thinking summit=sandwich just like usual. She came running back after she saw i was heading down. All things considered it was a great day to be out--below treeline! |
