Comments
Comments: trace snow starts shortly before the second water crossing. some mud down low. booted until just after the ski slope viewpoint then used snowshoes the rest of the way. others on the trail booted the whole way. depth increases to roughly 3 or so feet. solid in the center of the trail with a few inches of wet snow on top. trail continuing to tripoli rd. did not look recently travelled.
first time in the whites since suffering an injury last fall. beautiful day. still some bonus views to be had from the top of the remaining snow pack. nice to be getting in some hiking up north again.
